Last reviewed: 01.05.2026
4ELEMENTRA is committed to making this website accessible to all users in line with the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA.
1. Conformance status
This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Where individual elements still fall short, alternatives are described under section 4.
2. Accessibility features
- Keyboard-only navigation including a "Skip to main content" link.
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks (banner, navigation, main, contentinfo).
- ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and the language switcher.
- Trilingual content (DE / EN / ES) with correct
langattributes and hreflang annotations. - Built-in personalisation widget (bottom-left, magenta button) — font size, high contrast, dyslexia-friendly font, larger line-height, paused animations, link underlines, strong focus, larger cursor.
- Honours the operating system
prefers-reduced-motionsetting. - Self-hosted fonts (no external CDNs) — no third-party tracking required to load the page.
3. Compatibility
This website has been tested with current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop and mobile. Screen reader support has been validated with VoiceOver (macOS / iOS) and NVDA (Windows).
4. Known limitations
- Third-party embeds (where present) may not always meet WCAG AA — we are working with providers to improve this.
- Some older PDF documents in the brochure section may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers. We provide accessible alternatives on request.
